The Director

Lori is thrilled to be directing the Staged Reading of Charlotte Higgins' Rogues. Locally she has directed Brilliant Traces, The Clean House, and Lungs. Regionally Lori has directed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Twist, Pulso Argentino, which she also produced and Guys and Dolls as Assistant Director.
As an actor, Lori has toured with the Broadway National tours of Meet Me in St Louis, 42nd Street and Elvis Lives. Some of her New York Regional Credits include The Seagull (Arkadina) Abingdon Theater, Serendib (Laila) Ensemble Studio Theater, Middle of the Night (Mother) Blue Heron, Mrs. Dally Has a Lover (Mrs. Dally) Pantheon Theater, Escape from Happiness (Elizabeth) Gloria Maddox Theatre. Regionally Lori has worked at Westwood Playhouse, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Lost Nation Theater, Strike Repertory Theater, Santa Barbara Theater Festival, California Stage where she won the Elly Award as Best Actress for her role as Isadora Duncan in Rick Foster's one woman play, Love Isadora.
Locally, Lori performed at Capital Stage in Good People (Jean) and Superior Donuts (Officer Randy Osteen). STC as (Katherine) in Mothers and Sons, winning Best Actress Broadway World. And most recently you might have seen her as (Stevie), in The Stage at Burke Junction's production of The Goat.
As a choreographer Lori has choregraphed numerous musicals, plays, productions shows, videos around the country most notably, New York Premiers of Captain's and Courage by Israel Horowitz, Bus to Buenos Aires by Tom Mizer and Curtis Moore and Unwritten Song by Romulus Linney.
Lori also teaches scene study with focus on Viola Spolin improv techniques.
